Wiff of joy card to Beate.

Here is my contrubution to Wiff of Joy's 100th challenge!

It is a gift set that i made for my boyfriends aunt. She was 50, and loves everything girly and sparkly!

And since purple is my favorte color, the set came out this way!

 

 

 

The card is decorated with cream and purple gardenias from papirloftet and lavender roses from prima. The pearls are from Basic Grey - bling it, and the ribbon is something old I had lying around. The girl stamp is from Wiff of Joy, and I borrowed it from my friend Anita. I colored it with promarkers and stickles glitter glue. The text stamp is from Stempelglede and is called Magi.

The backside is a plain purple paper, distressed with distress ink. It is also sprayed with tattered angeles glimmer mist -pearl.

 And last but not least, a couple of pictures of the candle. Decorated with the same two stamps and same colors.

My niece is 6 years!

My beautiful niece is turning 6 this month, and in that occasion I made her this card.

She loves everything girlie, and I wanted to make a girlie card without girlie colors!

I hope she likes the card as much as the present!

My frist candle!!

One of my friends birthday is coming up soon (I won't say when or who, since the friend may not have received it yet..) and in that occasion I wanted to make something special.

There is no secret that tis gift is for a girl, and this girl is a great friend of mine!

So, I wanted to try to make her a candle... That is something I have never tried before, so it was so exiting. And when I finally tried, it was so cool! It was amazing how the paper blended into the candle.

So.. without further introduction, here is my candle:

Guest designer entry - Oh baby!

Last friday I was so lucky to be choosen for top 3 at Raise the Bar. 

I joined with my LO "King of the road", and I was so proud to be picked out as top 3! I can't even believe it! Because of that, I am a guest "bar-tender" for this weeks challenge.

The stamped image used above is "A versy special delivery" from Whipper Snapper, and I was lucky to borrow this from one of my best friends, Anita. *thanks a lot, hun!

I used embossing powder to create the effect on the two small stamps on the tags and for the sentiment.
I also used a lot of glitter glue, but It does not show in the photos.

This wedding card is for two good friends of mine. They are the best of friends, and are soon getting married, and in that occasion I made them this card. I loove the way Edwin is holding Tilda on this stamp. It i just adorable!

Farsdag!

In Norway Fathers day is comming up. Soo I wanted to make a card for my father.

He and mom are coming over to celebrate fathers day the 13th of November. (fathers day is the 14th)

The stamp I used is a Norwegian stamp from Papirloftet and says To the worlds greatest dad! Lots of hugs on fathers day! I love u! It is such a cute stamp. Otherwise I used my spellbinders dies, flower from Papirloftet, some pins from Søstrene Grene and some ribbon and pearls.

On the inside I used my Cuttlebug embossing folder, birds and swirls (distress ink - vintage photo). I also used spellbinders dies and a flower punch from Panduro. And pleeeease excuse my handwriting!

Inside I also thank my father for being the best father in the world and for being the way he is!

 En av mine aller beste venninner giftet seg i sommer, og i den anledning lagde jeg en "bryllupskake" til hun og mannen hennes :) Nedenfor ser dere resultatet!

One of my best friends got married this summer, and to the wedding I made a "wedding cake" for her and her husband :) Below you can se the result!

På første bilde kan dere se bunnen, neste bilde er av kaken uten bunn og nederst er bildet av lappene som lå oppi. Jeg hadde en tredje lapp hvor jeg skrev en hilsen fra meg og Anders.

The cake could open so that they could "read the card".

On the first picture you can se the bottom, the next picture is of the cake without bottom and the last picture is of the notes that was inside. I also had a third note which I wrote a greeting from me and my boyfriend.

Here is the cake I made of diapers for Beate.

Den er laget med blått bånd, grønne blomster, grønn sommerfugl, blå hjerter, nåler, sølv tråd papir og bleier!

Jeg har også hengt på en bitering og en bamse til babyen :)

I made it using baby blue ribbon, green flowers, green butterfly, blue hearts, pins, silver tread paper, and diapers. I also left a chewing toy and a cuddly dog on top for the baby :)

Min kusine skal snart konfirmeres, og i den anledning har jeg laget dette kortet! Til og med mønsterarket sier "konfirmant". Beklager at bildene er veldig mørke (den ene lillafargen ser brun ut, men det gjør den ikke i virkeligheten. Blomstene er også lilla....

My cousin is soon getting comfirmated (?! is this a word!?), and because of that, I made this card for her! Even the patterned paper says "confirmated".Sorry for the dark pictures (one of the purple colors looks a bit brown here, but it really does not in real life! The flowers are also purple....

Jeg begynte med skissen fra CLP som utgangspunkt for kortet. Dertter fikk jeg inspirasjon fra Magical crafts og Stampotiqe til å ha et jentepreg. Oppskriften fra TPC passet perfekt, og til slutt fant jeg frem noe stæsj som jeg har forsømt, og jeg endte opp med å bruke litt grungeboard.

I used the sketch from CLP as a beginning. After that I got inspiration from the girly challenges and the recipe from TPC. Then I got out some of my neglected stash, and I ended up using some long forgotten grungeboard.

Sommeren 2008 i Rindal.

Her kommer en sommerlig layout i min yndlingsfarge! Det er et bilde min kusine har tatt av meg. Bildet er tatt i Rindalsskogen, der min far er fra.

Takkekort til bestemor!

Her kommer takkekortet jeg har laget til min bestemor! Bestemor bestemte seg for å gi en ganske stor pengesum til alle barnebarna sine som årets bursdagspresang! Hun sier at hun mest sannsynlig ikke kommer til å huske på alle dagene vår, og at hun valgte å gi de ut når det første barnebarne fylte år!
Så med tanke på dette, ønsket jeg å lage et takkekort til henne!

Here comes a thank you card that I made for my grandmother. My grandmother decided to give quite a bit of money to all her grandchildren as this years birthday present. She says that she probably will not be able to remmember all our birthdays, so she wanted to give us our present when the first one had her birthday.
